National Honor Society hosts the academic awards at 6 p.m. and inducting new members at 8 p.m., on May 26. With new inductees, the number of participants total 31 students. The NHS and the StuCo also host the blood drive May 11-13. Volunteers, members or new members, are needed after school; this is a way to earn service hours.
Collected Clean Delivery Kit items need to compile in Mrs. Hurst’s room AK102. Each item counts as half an hour of towards service hours. Students need to have completed six service hours by the end of summer.
The meeting for new members on Tuesday, May 12, meets in Mrs. Hurst’s room right after school. Students need $15 for dues.
