As opposed to a multi-question exam or memorized speech, Mr. Matthew Stewart, Legacy’s Debate Coach, assigns his varsity class a presentation of their chosen topic. In straying from the norm, he invites both team-building through expression of interest and public speaking practice to be applied in competition and everyday life. In an interview with one of his students, Mr. Stewart’s semester final exams are broken down to their implicit benefits from the perspective of the examinee.
