She arms herself with one blue t-shirt, four 3-D paint pens, and the ability to make it all happen.
Jessica Bayless designs personalized shirts, shoes and book bags.
“I’ve made t-shirts for a long time but then people wanted to buy them, so I made a website,” junior Bayless said.
T-shirts cost $7. V-necks cost $10. Shoes are $15-20 and bags cost $6-10 depending on the style. People can order them at www.sweettees.webs.com. Bayless has made five shirts and has seven orders to fill.
“I like making shirts better because there is more room to draw on them,” Bayless said.
She customs designs everything, so there will never be the same shirt twice. Bayless made a shirt for a birthday gift for her friend Gabby Flores.
“I absolutely love my shirt. It’s very cute and creative,” senior Gabby said.
Flores’s sister Leah Flores loves the shirt so much she ordered one for herself.
“The shirt I purchased is a black v-neck with peace signs on it,” freshman Leah said.
Bayless’ passion is her art and her website.
“The best thing about making my own designs is you have no limits on what you can do,” Bayless said.
