JROTC

Why We Do It
“I’m in JROTC because it helps me to be a better person in my everyday life.” Westin Keeley, 10

Time/Days/Where We Meet
Monday- PT/Raider Team Practice
Tuesday- Armed and Unarmed Drill Practice
Wednesday- Exhibition Practice (Rifle Spinning)

All practices after school are all centered around EK103, where students meet in class during various periods of the day.

What Other Students Think We Do
“Most students probably just think we work out and prepare ourselves for joining the military.” Westin Keeley, 10

What Our Parents Think We Do
“My parents think we just practice drill and ceremony and work on discipline every day.” Alex Sims, 12

What We Really Do
“JROTC gives us leadership skills to help with real-world problems. We become better speakers in class and practice good habits with community service.” Fatima Santos, 12
