Environmental Club

Why We Do It
“I love helping the earth and making a positive change. I notice how many negative environmental factors dominate some parts of our world, and if we want to make a change, we have to start with ourselves. [Joining Environmental Club] was my first step.” Serena Noureddine, 11.

Time/Days/Where We Meet
Environmental Club meets every Tuesday at three p.m. in room U204.

What Other Students Think We Do
“They think we’re a bunch of VSCO girls who are obsessed with plastic straws and want to kill anyone who uses plastic water bottles.” Samantha Gerges, 11.

What Our Parents Think We Do
“My parents think that all I do is really take care of the garden at school. They believe the Environmental Club is nothing but a gardening crew.” Kennedy Ruhland, 10.

What We Really Do
“We are dedicated to spreading awareness about the state of the Earth and what we can do as a community to improve it.” Nina Banks, 10.
