I don’t know about you, but I normally don’t hear about too many fights occurring at Legacy High School. I can’t recall ever hearing one, and I have surely never seen one.
However, today I almost saw a fight. It happened as I was walking toward Newspaper class. Two guys I have never seen before were pushing each other against the walls and spitting out some “fightin’ words,” and it was intense. Me, I’m a pretty peaceful guy. I try to be non-confrontational, so I walked up between the two men, took one of their hands and shook, saying, “Hi, my name’s Chase. How are you today?”
He cooled down a bit and offered a hello, and then I did the same thing for the other man. He said he obviously wasn’t doing too well today, so I wished him a good weekend and walked away. The other almost-fighter had already walked away. So I’m not sure if I was the only thing involved with deterring the fight, but I sure helped! And I did it Thoreau/Ghandi style! So I hope everyone knows that nonviolent methods really do work and there is always a better way to handle a situation.

That’s a cool story, but next time try this method: Pull out your phone and select record video. If your phone can’t do that ( >_< my video recorder doesn't work) then get the attention of someone nearby and use their phone. Then video the fight. Then email that video to me. Then put it on youtube. Then (important step) make sure you don't get caught! However on a more serious note, you're kind of lucky that they didn't decide to just hit you instead.

So that’s how it went down, eh? Hah. I’ll have to try this sometime….or not.

There’s plenty of errors in this blog, who in the world edited it? Good thing it’s only a blog and not an actual story. I bet that Chase kid edited it himself, what a fool. But otherwise… This Story Rocks My Boots!
