Yet another seat clinching Sci-Fi movie directed by Michael Bay: Project Almanac, a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat by twisting the laws of physics in ways never thought possible.
The movie opens with a student named David Raskin (Jonny Weston), his two friends Adam and Sam and his sister Chris videotaping Davids technological invention so he can receive scholarship money to attend the very prestigious technical school, M.I.T. When Raskin doesn’t receive the scholarship money he plans to, he begins to look in his dust filled attic for more invention ideas.
Instead, Raskin finds a video recording that shows older Raskin in a mirror at his own seventh birthday. While confused about the situation Raskin goes searching in his dad’s basement where he finds a relocation device that his father had left before he passed away. The movie then follows the unexplainable bent laws of physics and the journeys Raskin and his friends take and how changing the past can affect the future.
This movie consisted of all types of emotion. Although some profane language was used, it still should be considered a movie for the family to see and enjoy.
I was very impressed with the very well put together movie that was taken in a first person type of view. There was very little to criticize when it came to the reality of the movie. I felt like I was right there in the actors lap during the entire movie.
All in all, this is a must see film of 2015 due to the unbelievable somehow becoming believable by the end of the film.
