Can you describe your outfit and where everything is from?
“My jeans and my vest are from Target, my shoes are from Clark’s, my shirt and my necklace are from J.Crew. That is what I wear all the time, chambray and green.”
How would you describe your style?
“Classic and minimalistic, I do the capsule wardrobe so like 30 pieces of clothing and I just mix and match them.”
Where do you get fashion inspiration from?
“I really like the blog Un-Fancy, and I look at Pinterest all of the time, I mostly just wear whatever I want.”
What are your favorite trends at the moment?
“I really like tights and long shirts, because it’s comfortable, and I really like top knots because they’re super easy and keep my hair out of my face”
Do you have any fashion advice?
“I think that you should wear whatever you like and whatever flatters your body, and don’t worry about what’s cool, just wear whatever you want.”
If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be and why?
“Carolyn from the Un-Fancy blog, she has the most amazing leather vest and really nice shoes and she looks cool.”
Where do you like to shop?
“I shop a lot at Free People, Madewell and a lot of Target and Old Navy.”
What do you like to do when you are not teaching or directing?
“I spend a lot of time with my dog, Pete, and we like to go rock climbing or golfing, things like that.”
What is your favorite style era?
“Definitely the ‘60s, because there was a lot of mascara and lashes and big hair, and those are all things I love.”
Stores or brands that you wish you could shop at?
“I really want a Chloe bag, but that’s not gonna happen.”
