[WARNING: SPOILERS FOR LAST MONDAY’S EPISODE OF THE BACHELOR]
Here’s the previous weeks of Rose Watch in case you missed it.
Welcome again to another exciting week of ABC’s The Bachelor.
Due to Valentine’s Day festivities, only Katherine was able to watch The Bachelor this week, so this week will be a little lighter on content. Next week, we’ll be back in full force just in time for hometown dates.
After the lull of the past few weeks, the show is finally back on track, full steam ahead. Not to mention, Rachel has been announced as the next bachelorette, making her the first black bachelor/bachelorette! Pretty great news and it really shouldn’t have taken this long.
Expect something really exciting featuring Rachel in the coming weeks ? ? ?
Let’s get on to the dates.
THE DATES
- VANESSA’S DATE
The two went on a boat and snorkeling which is a basic bachelor date that happens in almost every episode. Vanessa decided to tell Nick that she was falling in love with him. Big mistake. Basically, Nick said that he has said “I love you” multiple times before, and he wants to say it when he really means. It was Nick’s way of not saying “I love you” back to Vanessa. The date could’ve ended on a better note.
- BOAT DATE
Another boat date isn’t that shocking. Kristina, Raven and Corinne all went on a group date which was of course awkward. Corinne was complaining the whole time about Nick not paying attention to her. Corinne was doing what Corinne does best: complaining. Corinne did have a point though; during the majority of the date, his focus was on Kristina. Later on during the date, Nick then focused his attention on Raven who received the group date rose. This means NIck will be going to Hoxie, Arkansas. That will be interesting.
- DANIELLE M’S DATE
Danielle M. was a front runner at the beginning of the show, but that changed this week. Danielle and Nick’s chemistry was just not there. They had trouble making conversation during the date, and it was just awkward. Maybe she was nervous, but the spark just wasn’t there. This influenced Nick’s decision to send Danielle home. She had a good run. Maybe we’ll see her on Bachelor In Paradise.
- RACHEL’S DATE
Nick and Rachel’s date was very relaxed and easy like their relationship. They went to a local spot on the island and just talked. They discussed hometowns, and Nick brought up meeting her parents. Rachel confessed that she has never taken a white boy home to her parents. Nick also mentioned talking to her father about her hand in marriage.
It’s time once again for the BACHELOR POWER RANKINGS where we can rank each contestant. To rank high on our list, you have to be a mix of entertaining, funny, genuine and you have to actually seem like you might have a chance at winning Nick’s love. We’re down to THE FINAL FOUR.
POWER RANKINGS
#1. RACHEL (#1 LAST WEEK)
As of right now Rachel and Nick have the best chemistry compared to the other girls, but she was announced to be the next bachelorette on Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night. This means she doesn’t win, but right now Nick seems to be into her. My guess is that something will happen at hometowns to ruin that.
#2 VANESSA (#4 LAST WEEK)
While Nick didn’t say “I love you” back to Vanessa yet, I believe that he will eventually. He just doesn’t want to say it too quickly like in the past. I think next week will go well for Vanessa.
#3 RAVEN (#6 LAST WEEK)
I’m still shocked that Raven is still in the competition, but for some reason Nick likes her enough for her to be going to hometowns. I just can’t wait to see Nick in Hoxie, Arkansas.
#4 CORINNE (#3 LAST WEEK)
Part of me is surprised Corinne is still here, but part of me isn’t. She makes for great entertainment, and I guess Nick sorta likes her. Hometowns will be so great because we will finally be able meet Raquel.
Will Nick ever find true love? No like for real is he gonna do it? No like really? Find out next week on ROSE WATCH.
Watch The Bachelor on ABC every Monday at 8/7c.
