Fall is the best time of the year. Perfect weather, Halloween, football, homecoming, so many eventful things happen during the season of fall. Here’s a list of activities to do in the area during this fall season:
Go to a Pumpkin Patch
The different pumpkin patches in the DFW area are endless. You could explore the ones in Flower Mound, Grapevine or even the one at The First United Methodist Church. Go to one of these, buy a pumpkin and take cute pictures.
Go to a Haunted House
Personally, I will burst into tears if I go to a haunted house, but if you’re into being scared to death then you should definitely explore a haunted house this season. Cutting Edge is one of the most known ones in the DFW area. It runs from Sept. 15-Nov. 4.
Fright Fest at Six Flags
Fright Fest is perfect if you enjoy rollercoasters and being scared, which go hand in hand. Fright Fest runs from Sept. 23-Oct. 31 at Six Flags in Arlington.
State Fair of Texas
The State Fair of Texas is a long-time tradition that should not be overlooked. Fried food, entertainment, rides, what else could you ask for? The State Fair runs from Sept. 29-Oct. 22.
Go to a Festival
Fall is the perfect time for festivals, whether it be food festivals, cultural festivals or music festivals (my personal favorite). Different festivals include the Bluegrass Festival, The Scarecrow Festival and the Silobration festival.
