Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts seem to be the typical coffee places people go to get coffee and study in a quiet environment. Hidden in Arlington lies a place called Savor. It has been open for over a year but nobody seems to have tried it, though they should. The coffee, food and environment make it the best coffee shop in the Mansfield/Arlington area.
The Drinks
Keep an open mind when going to Savor. Even if you’re not a coffee person, the shop has an abundance of different types of drinks including tea, smoothies and hot chocolate. One of the best coffee items on the menu is the caramel macchiato. If you like sweeter coffees, this would be the best choice. Savor presents items on the menu as delicate and savory. It always seems like the person making it put effort into their craft. It’s also great for cute pictures to put on your social media accounts. Savor also has strong coffee such as espresso if you need that extra kick of caffeine.
The Food
Most people when going to a coffee shop, just order coffee. Don’t miss out on trying the delicious food at Savor. Their crepes are some of the best crepes I’ve ever tasted. If you want more of a fruity, sweet type of crepe order the Bee’s Knees, I know it’s a weird name but once you take a bite of it you won’t care. If you’re more into meaty type crepes, order the ham or bacon crepe. Either way, you can’t go wrong because anything you choose to order at Savor will be amazing. If you want more of a lunch type of food, Savor also serves pho, sandwiches and salads.
Overall Atmosphere
It’s shocking that people aren’t familiar with this place. Not only is the food and coffee better than any other coffee shop in the area, the atmosphere Savor creates adds to the experience. The decor in Savor looks like an interior designer chose it. It feels like you’re in someone’s living room, it’s very homey. The quiet environment makes it the perfect place to study if you have to cram for an exam. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place out. Go in with an open mind and drink some coffee.
