The Legacy Theatre Department will soon show Brighten Beach Memoirs. In this dramatic comedy, a teenage Jewish boy describes his family’s financial struggles and the adversities of adolescence. It premiers on October 29 and runs until November 1.
“People should come see Brighten Beach because I think it’s the best work we’ve ever done. It’s a great play, and we have two new actors, Wiatte and Sarah, who have done an amazing job,” senior Nick Jimenez said.
The show will start at 7 p.m. the 29-31, and at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. It costs $5 for students and $7 for adults.
