The Ranch Southwest Ford Friday Night Lights Patrol will be at the second half of the Homecoming football game looking for tagged cars, painted bodies, t-shirts, and anything that shows Ranch Spirit. The school with the most spirit wins $1,000 scholarship and a Casey Donahew band concert in the Gym.
“I know a lot of students like Casey Donahew and Texas Country Music and would like a free concert,” Cassidy Lakota said.
The Ranch also encourages students to submit messages, videos and pictures to the Ranch FaceBook & Twitter or [email protected] throughout the football season. Students can also text “legacy” to 53318.
“We have to make sure we have a lot of school spirit, not just the cheerleaders,” Mrs. Lakota said.
Mrs. Lakota does not know how our school got chosen, but sophomores Brayden Little and Danica Howard are really excited that Casey Donahew may perform at our school.
“I would scream at the top of my lungs. He is a really great singer and he is hot,” Little said.
Both girls plan on possibly making shirts. Howard has a tutu she will wear and Little will dress in all school colors.
“I am not sure what the other schools are doing but I hope all the student body will get involved,” Mrs. Lakota said.
