Mrs. Long’s community service classes joined together to host the Holiday Pet Pals drive, Dec. 8 through Dec. 16. The Pet Pals Drive, similar to Salvation Army’s Angel Tree, will help many different types of rescue animals at the Hillcrest Animal Rescue.
To participate in the pet drive, anyone can come by Mrs. Long’s room (R-201) or Ms. Anderson’s room (Y-314) before Dec. 16 to pick a pet-tag off the tree. The back of the tag lists items the chosen pet wants for the Holidays such as collars, leashes, rawhide chews, pig ear chews, bones and toys.
If one cannot make it to either classroom for a tag, the rescue will accept any and all donations of the above listed items.
