Student council and journalism students will combine talents to make a lip dub music video for the L.U.C.K. Week adoptee, Ethan Hallmark. The final recording of the lip dub will be March 3 at 3 p.m.
“I think Ethan will love that we are using his favorite song for our project,” Mrs. Schimming said.
Lip dubs combine lip syncing and audio dubbing to make a music video. Student Council and Legacy Student Media hope to get as many clubs and people involved as possible.
On Thurs., Feb. 3 at 3 p.m., Mrs. Schimming, Mr. Mallett and Mr. Cockrell will hold an informational meeting for a representative from each club to attend. Participating in the video is completely voluntary as practices and filming will be every Thursday in February at 3 p.m. for all partakers in the Student Council Room.
“I love this project,” Mrs. Schimming said. “L.U.C.K. week is all about bringing unity to the Legacy campus and highlighting the talents of our students and staff. A Lip Dub is the perfect way to bring the campus together while creating encouragement and support for Ethan.”
