Mansfield ISD’s College and Career night will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Legacy from 6-8 p.m. The event brings in college, military and technical school representatives to set up information-tables in the cafeteria, allowing students and parents from all MISD schools to gather information beneficial to college planning.
Along with the tables, two different seminars will be available for attendees. The first seminar, Planning for College, focuses on financial aid and will take place in the Performing Arts Center. The second, ACT/SAT will focus on each college based test and be held in the library. Seminars begin at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
“Parents and students should attend College and Career night to meet college representatives face to face, gather information and plan for their post secondary career,” AVID and College readiness coordinator Angela Martin said.
