Student journalists were presented Individual Achievement Awards by the International League Press Conference April 29. According to ILPC, these awards represent the nation’s finest in scholastic journalism.
“It was really great knowing that my hard work is appreciated and recognized,” junior Adriance Rhoades said, winner of 4 Individual Achievement Awards and a Tops in Texas award for Photography.
The online newspaper also received a Gold Star, an award given to the top ten percent of student newspapers and yearbooks in Texas.
