In an attempt to bring a larger crowd to the district game against Mansfield Summit High School Dr. Shelly Butler, Principal, has offered students attending the game a free homework pass. Volleyball player Lindsey Harris believes that a larger crowd will help them win.
“I hope the fans will get loud,” Harris said. “They are our seventh man.”
The pass can replace a missing homework assignment in the first six-weeks grading period.
Dr. Butler hopes that the crowd will inspire the Bronco Nation for future games too.
“If we can get more people out that builds camaraderie, tradition, and belief in the team,” Dr. Butler said. “Like one big unit.”
The game on Sept. 9, 2014 starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Legacy game gym.
“It’s another step toward playoffs for us,” Kacie Rombach, 11 said. “We expect to win.”
