To help students make more creative and virtual projects, Librarian Pamela Pinkerton bought a green screen in December. The setup is surrounded by lights to prohibit shadows, a tripod to set a device on and the floor-to-ceiling screen.
Ms. Pinkerton bought the setup from Amazon for less than $300 with the library’s budget. To use the screen, students must have an app. There are free ones, but Ms. Pinkerton recommends Do Ink. Students can access the screen in the library with permission from Ms. Pinkerton any time throughout the day.
“I work really hard to make sure that I’m providing what students need,” Ms. Pinkerton said. “I want this to be an option.”
