Top In Class and Podium

Jeremy Hamilton took his spring vacation earlier than scheduled. A freshman and at the top of his class spent his Spring Break at Daytona Bike Week competing in the AMA Winter Dirt Track Series in early March.

Finishing up their season in October, Bike Week is the first time they hit the dirt and start their new season. Testing new equipment, learning about their new classes, competitors and gearing up for different types of tracks will provide the edge for these riders at their district races.

The series is composed of short tracks, TT, and half miles and spread out over five days of racing. Classes stem from 50cc to 450cc; these classes are imperative in grooming the amateurs for the professional ranks.

Jeremy is in his last year as an amateur and finished the series with two overall #1 plates in the 250cc and the 450 cc divisions. These such accomplishments add to the value of his program and entices sponsors to be a part of his career.

Not only is Jeremy excelling on the flat track scene he is also maintaining a high grade point average that has ranked him in the top six percent in his class.

At the top in both school and motorcycle racing leaves little time for anything else. For Jeremy, he utilizes his time wisely and even makes time for school sports. Football, Track and Soccer is what appeals to him and in fact is a great part of his training for his first love, motorcycle racing.

With the vast support of God, his family, and sponsors; Jeremy is thankful for his gift on the track.

Jeremy will once again be on the move April 25-26 in Brownstown, IL as well as in Little Rock, AR competing in the first AMA Dirt Track Grand Championships Hole Shot Series for 2009.
