Band: “I love band because it’s a social network and challenges you in ways most other activities don’t. Marching band is hard, but when you’re with your friends, hearing your school’s name called out for state–it makes it all worthwhile.”
Faith: “My faith is a very big part of who I am. My dad was a Sunday school teacher, so I was always at the church having fun. It was always ‘Yay Jesus!’. When my dad had a stroke, it changed my way of thinking and made me more serious about my faith.”
Family: “My family has always supported me and kept me on task through everything I’ve done. I wouldn’t be as serious, over achieving, and respectful if they hadn’t of enforced the rules. In the long run, it makes me feel like a better person.”
Mediator: “I love to help my friends solve issues in any way that I can. I hate seeing problems arise and I’m obsessive compulsive to solving them when I do. I’m a mediator, kind of like Dr.Phil except without the mustache.”
