Senior Abby Gieger spends her time singing, writing her heart out, spending time with her family and having fun serving her community.
Singer- “I’ve been in choir for six years and just singing since I could talk. I like choir because singing is my way of expressing myself, whether I’m happy, sad, or angry. Any emotion or situation can be put into song lyrics for me to sing.”
Author- “Any idea that pops into my head can be put onto paper and incorporated into a story. My stories all have different meanings and themes that I’m tyring to get across, but they are mainly centered around fantastical adventures that wouldn’t actually happen in real life. Any imagination factor amazes me, and I can make it into anything I want to in my world.”
Service Provider- “I go to the Creekwood Church of Mansfield, and my youth group and I usually volunteer for Sunday Morning Services for Child Care. I absolutely love little kids, and the whole group loves to be involved in helping others. We also do lock-ins, greet people for church, play games and be crazy.”
Family Lover- “Family is the most important thing in my life, above everything else. My dad is my hero, he has taught my brother and I honor, loyalty, and to be the best that we can be. My mom is my best friend, she always gives me the best advice and is there when I need her. My brother is one of my favorite people. I look up to him and he is my knight in shining armor. No matter what happens, no matter where I go, I know that my family will always love me, and that’s what I love most about them.”
