Sophomore Ashton Willnow practices her kicks in the drill team room for the upcoming football game. Willnow worries about the amount of homework that awaits her when she gets home, but knows it is all part of the dream.

Horses
“I have ridden horses for six years. I love letting go of everything else and just riding my horse and not having to think about anything else. I started riding horses because of my mom. As a kid everyone goes through that crazy horse phase. I never went threw that because I already had horses. So once I got older I asked my mom if I could ride horses. I have ridden horses ever since. The only bad thing is now that I am on drill team I only get to ride on the weekends.”

Dancer
“I danced when I was a kid for about four years. I started dancing again last year in Dance 1 and now I am on the drill team. I love drill team but it is really time consuming. I like drill team because I like to dance and have fun. My favorite pat of drill team is kick lines. I like kicks so much because that is what I am best at. I wish we did kick lines at every pep rally.”

Lawyer
“My dream is to go to go to Columbia to become a lawyer. Now I don’t really think that going to Columbia is going to happen. I plan on going to UT if the whole Columbia dream doesn’t work out. I am going to have to become a brilliant person to get into Columbia. I take all AP classes so my college resume will look good.”

Theatre Lover
“I love being in Children’s Theatre. I like that it lets me be goofy and not have anyone say anything about it. I am really excited about the play that we are getting ready to do. The songs are so funny. I really like that I am in there with my friends. It is just a great time in general.”
