On Friday, Sept 25, at 7:00 the Bronco football players will be going up against the Stephenville Yellow Jackets on their territory. Stephenville High School has four state championships in their school’s history, whereas Legacy has four game wins in its school history.
Varsity has been preparing for Stephenville for two weeks now. They know it will be a challenge.
“We feel like beating them will be a huge step for us in the program,” Head Football Coach Melson said. “We believe we’re going to win.”
Stephenville High School has been around for decades and has established many of their own customs, especially with football. Legacy’s varsity football team is only two years old, but continues to develop on that experience.
“We’re building our own traditions,” Coach Melson said.
