Top 9 Things You Don’t Know About Google Search

Top+9+Things+You+Dont+Know+About+Google+Search

Here are nine tricks you may not know about Google’s search engine.

9. O Gs
Searching for “Zerg Rush” causes a bunch of Google “o”s to attack the result page and eventually destroy it but the user can fight back by clicking them. After destroying the results the “o”s then arrange themselves into two capital ‘G’s representing the acronym for “good game”.

8. Everyone Loves Bacon
Type any actor’s name followed by “Bacon Number” to get the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon value. Can you get higher than 2? Our highest was 4.

7. Old School Games
Doing a Google Image search for “Atari Breakout” will launch a playable version of Breakout using the image results.

6. Retro Lookin’
Searching for “Google in 1998” results in a 1998 Google search screen appearing in place of the current Google search screen.

5. No Coins Needed
Searching for “Google Pacman” has a playable version of the game appear on the screen.

4. Ask Your Momma
Searching for “Conways Game Of LIfe” produces the Life simulation described by Conway

3. Twist and Shout
If you type “Do a barrel roll” on only Google and the screen will do a 360 spin.

2. Slightly Off
Searching for “askew” or “tilt” using Google will cause the search results to be displayed at a slight angle.

1. Get Ghetto-fied
Gizoogle is a “form” of google that turns words into ghetto slang. When you look something up like “ESPN” it will turn every sentence into ghetto madness. You should also search your name and it will bring up your Twitter account (assuming you have one) with your tweets ghettofied.

Moses Gonzalez, Staff Writer
Hi, my name is Moses and I am flabbergasted to be joining the newspaper team this year. I am on the drum line and I am one of those people that believe band is life. I have a huge infatuation with the NFL and I can name you almost every offensive player on every team. Obsessed, don’t you think? I have 1 dog, 2 brothers and two sisters, and I live with my mom. I love long walks on the beach and Cici's pizza. [email protected]
