Ever since the iPhone, released in 2007 and iPad, released in 2010, technology, applications and games have dominated peoples’ daily routines. Even though 2013 has come and gone, the amazing top hit applications still remain.

iPhone Apps

YouTube: Students’ favorite videos, music and playlists in the palm of their hand. Subscribe to favorite channels and much more just as the original website allows you to.

Instagram: Students capture their favorite moments in a picture or video, customize the experience with filters and captions and share with all their followers. Students can also like and comment on other peoples’ pictures.

Vine: Catch life’s greatest, funniest and most-memorable, six-second moments in action by scrolling through your Vine feed. This app enables people to post funny, epic or emotional videos, as long as they’re under six seconds, and share them with friends and family on the popular social media network.

Snapchat: Send videos and pictures to your friends with a set time limit and, when viewed, the picture disappears. Students can also add captions to the image and, with the recent update, add filters to customize pictures.

iPad Apps
iBooks: Download and read books wherever and whenever you want. Explore over hundreds of books and download documents to always have them whenever they’re needed. Download PDF’s in class and read along with teachers and friends in class.

Netflix: Be able to access TV shows and movies at the tip of your fingers and never miss another episode of your favorite show again. Narrow down the search by looking for the genre of your favorite movie.

Plague Inc.: Name, create and manipulate a disease to kill the entire world. Evolve the disease, its symptoms and its transmission, and then race against the cure to destroy the world. Unlock cheats by completing levels and manage your way through the disease to beat the cure.

Dumb Ways to Die: Collect all the random and funny characters at the train station as you master your way through 15 crazy mini-games.
