Among the locals, Aunt Stelle’s has been a favorite for more than 50 years. Located in Oak Cliff, this small Sno Cone shop opens on the last weekend in April through Labor Day, but only serves on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The owners live just two doors down from the shop and serve classic flavors such as the Pink Lady and Root Beer.
Also a favorite among the locals, Tastee Ice serves signature snow cones such as “The Plunge,” a snow cone with ice cream in the middle, and “The Piccadilly,” a snow cone with chopped pickles and kool-aid sprinkled on top. Not only do they have a location in Arlington, but also in Grand Prairie, Irving and Desoto.
