Legacy varsity volleyball prepares to start their second round of district. Looking ahead at two of their top competitors, Summit and Waxahachie, the team stays focused on their district journey through district. Bethany Ross, 12, enjoys the fight that the team holds, and looks forward to the rest of the season.
“It is just a different environment,” Ross said. “We are all working to one goal. No matter who scores we are all trying to keep pushing.”
The team, having such a strong bond on and off the court, doesn’t let anything get in their way. Lindsey Harris, 12, loves the emotions the team has during games.
“We have gone through a lot in pre season,” Harris said. “The drive, the heart and the competitiveness is so much fun.”
Though they have two top competitors, Ta’Lyn Moody, 12, knows that with the help of fast pace practices they will manage to compete with the top competitors in the district.
“As long as we continue to play as we have, we will be fine,” Moody said. “We have a mentality of staying strong.”
