Ja’Leesa Giles, 12, (left) Lyric Turner, 12, Ja’Lyric Giles, 10, and Maquela Noel, 12, (right) qualified for the regional track meet.

Junior Jais Smith fixed his cleats into the block and placed his fingers behind the track lines. The starter recited his line and shot the blank pistol as Jais lunged forward and broke out into a full sprint. After 100 meters he placed second at the finish line and qualified for the regional meet along with his teammates in this list.
