After another win in their recent tournament, varsity golf is looking forward to continuing their success in the postseason. Dominating the competition this year, the team has won five tournaments so far this season. The team now has finished first in district and are already rolling into playoffs.
“The season’s gone very well,” sophomore golfer, Noah Parvin said.“I think we have all as players become very well rounded and dedicated to what we are doing.”
Parvin has just come off of the best shoot in his playing career, shooting an 80. This promising result has him eager for the playoffs.
“I can’t wait until playoffs start because I can finally get my first experience of playing in the postseason,” said Parvin. “I’ve had a very solid season so far, and playoffs will be a whole new scene for me. I’m ready to take on the pressure of winning a district title.”
Overall, the team is optimistic that they will keep dominance within the playoffs just like they have all year.
“I think the team will do extremely well in playoffs,” said Parvin. “We have been working very hard this year and have been trying to become the best players that we can be.”
