MISD art departments will host Empty Bowls Charity Event on Nov. 27 from 6-8 p.m at the Center. This event will support Mansfield Cares, and they, in turn, will distribute the money throughout the community. As part of the national event, they will have soup available for $5 per person and will hold silent auctions for the best bowls and openly sell the 100s of other bowls.

“When students see their bowls being sold,” art teacher Shane Skinner said, “it lets them know they are directly helping people in the community.”
