With the temperature drop, we begin to prepare for Thanksgiving. While Thanksgiving reminds us to appreciates what we have, life reminds us of the annoyances we face.
Having to Walk to the Other Side of the School Every Morning
Students leave their warm car only to trek through the cold to the cafeteria doors. Hair gets frizzy and you get really cold along the way. Just wait until it starts to freeze every morning. At least we will get to tell our grandchildren about walking to school, through the snow, uphill both ways.
Grades
Negativity causes people to care less about things that they should prioritize. Work makes students prioritize money above school, and grades begin to drop. When the grades drop students get stressed and a perpetual cycle of not completing school work occurs.
Waking Up For School
Every weekday, students wake up and try to convince themselves that education is worth it. After about 15 minutes, they finally get up. This can affect the entire day, learning and otherwise.
Mondays
After a weekend full of work and homework, there is little rest. Then not even a day later, students have to wake up at 6 a.m. again. The week starts over, and the weekend lies too far. The whole day makes everyone stressed and tired.
Orange Pulp
During breakfast, you pour a nice glass of orange juice. Take a sip, and pulp overtakes the juice. Instead of orange juice, you got pulp. This could ruin the whole day for anyone.
Fake People
Everyone has a close friend they think is innocent. This friend knows everything about you and you do a lot of things together. Only to find out that they lied the whole time and talked behind your back.
Getting Sick/This Weather
It’s fall. The season where almost everyone catches a cold. People come to school sick so that they do not lose exemptions, or fall behind in classes. Sickness spreads like gossip from fake people, and sooner or later everyone is sick and cold. It feels harder to convince myself to get up when it’s freezing outside.
How many more months until Spring?
