As teens, we constantly need to complete tasks and deadlines that take up a lot of the time we could spend on ourselves. In order to reduce this loss of time, I made a list of self-care apps that you can incorporate into your schedule.
Calm
We all go through stressful days where things do not seem to go our way. These days our stress levels tend to rise, which cannot be good for our health. With Calm, you can easily destress with their calm music. This app also gives you the option to do a meditative session. You can download Calm through the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.
Youper
If you deal with mental health issues, Youper can help maintain your emotional health. Youper, an emotional health assistant, tracks your mood throughout the day. It also lets you make goals to better yourself. Download Youper through the Google Play Store if you use an Android or the Apple Store for iPhone.
Plant Nanny
If you ever forget to drink water throughout the day, download Plant Nanny. This app reminds you when to drink water with a cute twist. Every time you drink water, you can also water your virtual plant and track how much water you drink. Downloading Plant Nanny will be easy since you can find it on both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.
Forest
Forest blocks social media notifications or texts from your friends when you are in a productive zone. If you want to focus, plant a tree, set how much time you want to focus for, and watch your tree grow. You can get Forest from both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store
Aloe Bud
Aloe Bud helps with all of your self-care needs. It helps track how much water you drink, how long you meditate or can journal your day. This app also helps you remember to find time to relax and recharge. One downside happens to be that you can only find the app on Apple Store.
