#5 Denny’s
Dennys comes in at number 5 because the food is mediocre and the atmosphere is below average. I have never been to a Dennys and walked out impressed. I find my pancakes always burn to crispy and the waiters and waitresses never provide good service. However, a huge plus for the establishment is that it’s open 24/7 all 365 days of the year. You can find the closest one at 3720 E Broad St, Mansfield, TX 76063.

#4 International House of Pancakes
IHOP comes in slightly above Denny’s just because the food, atmosphere and service is hit or miss. The French toast is a hit most of the time and the hot syrup never lets down. Depending on the day and time you may or may not be able to find a table. IHOP is open every day of the year for 24 hours. You can find the closest Ihop at 1951 U.S. 287 Frontage Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063.

#3 Waffle House
Waffle House comes because the food is always adequate and consistent. The food is always cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner. The servers might look grumpy and it might look sketchy, but you can always depend on them. The clientele isn’t the best in the early mornings, but you can get a table easily. Waffle House is open all day every day and can be found at 1909 FM157, Mansfield, TX 76063.

#2 Ol’ South Pancake House
This was a hard decision but second place is Ol’ South Pancake house. Only ranked second because of the drive to Fort Worth. The food is always cooked to perfection no matter the day, time or amount of people. The original pancakes are by far some of the best pancakes ever. The servers are all pleasant and you can buy merch. The food costs more, but you get what you pay for. You can’t go wrong with breakfast from Ol’ South Pancake House. Ol’ South Pancake House is open all day every day and can be found at 1509 S University Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76107.

#1 Our Place
The best place you can get breakfast locally is Our Place. Our place is a local hot spot and is always busy. If you want a table then you better get there when it opens or prepare to wait. The food is as good as it gets and if you end up waiting too long for breakfast then you can stay for their signature dish, chicken fried steak. Our Place also gets bonus points for having yard games such as cornhole to play while waiting. Our place is the only restaurant on the list that isn’t open all day every day but you can eat there from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day. You can find them at 915 W Debbie Ln, Mansfield, TX 76063.
