Sports Wrap-Up

Varsity ended the season 2-7, 1-6 in district, with wins against Birdville and Byron Nelson. This hecting season with COVID-19 resulted with players getting quarantined and everyone on the sidelines needing a mask to socially distance. The broncos’ game against Crowley got cancelled due to Crowley’s team getting quarantined. However, they finished the season as strong as they could.

The Broncos had two Division I signees. David Abiara signed with the University of Texas and Ore Adeyi signed with Northwestern University. Two players signed NAIA: Terry Clark, Souhwestern Assemblies of God University/DT and Carlos Mcintyre, Sterling College/DB.

Second team all-district players were Ky’irin Heath/Tight End , Beau Kilgore/Quarterback Frank Alvarez/Punter, Bryan Gomez/Kicker, Connor Crayton/Linebacker, Terry Clark/Defensive Tackle, Malcolm Jones/Offensive Tackle, Ore Adeyi/Cornerback. First team all district players were: David Abiara/DE, Isaiah Williams/WR, Max Harris/S.
