The ACT test for college acceptance offers students with stronger math and science skills an alternative to the more grammar focused SAT. Both tests receive equal consideration by colleges, so one does not hold an advantage over the other.
“If you don’t read a lot or don’t write a lot, take the ACT, or you will fail the SAT,” senior Michael Baker said.
