After Prom will be held Saturday, April 18 from 12- 5 a.m. at Legacy High School. Tickets are being sold for $20 in the cafeteria through Wednesday, April 14. All rules of the MISD handbook apply, and a picture ID will be checked upon entrance, which is located at K-Hall (back of the building). All students must arrive by 1 a.m. and plastic bags will be available for dresses and tuxedos to prevent damage. The gowns and tuxes will be labeled and placed in a secure area. If a student chooses to leave before 5 a.m., the parents will be called for permission.

 This year’s After Prom has added many new activities for students including caricature artists, karaoke, a mechanical bull, laser tag and a DJ. Prizes such as cameras, a laptop, televisions, iPods and a bike will also be available. After Prom committee member, Diane Rahrig, encourages students to attend the event.

 “The main reason is to keep everyone safe,” Rahrig said. “But really we just want everyone to have a fun, casual time with their friends.”
