Every July for the past ten years, students all over the country have competed for the ShurTech Stuck at Prom® Duck Tape® scholarship. Contestants must attend a school-sponsored prom as a couple wearing a coordinated dress and suit made entirely of Duck Tape.
“[Wearing a dress made of Duck Tape] would be sort of weird at first, but it’s cool. It’s very unique,” junior Samantha Kibler said.
All entries for this year must be entered by June 7, and it is suggested that next year’s contestants begin planning soon.
