All things must come to a close and as I look back on my senior I’m glad that I spent it with my new journalism family! I walked into class the first day of school and didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve met so many wonderful people during this year in my Newspaper class and I’m going to highlight all the new friends I’ve made.
Greg Uribe – He is one of the main reasons that I am in this class and if it weren’t for him I don’t know if I would have enjoyed my senior year as much as I did.
Aaron Sakowaski – Always keeps it real and brings the truth and can write a really poignant editorial any day of the week.
Will Ritchie – Edited almost all of my stories this year (so any mistakes are on him) and for all the flak he catches I think he is a funny guy.
Nick Jimenez – I knew that we could relate when he got a reference I made to a podcast I watch. He knows so much about pop culture it is insane.
Nadley Doerge – A really funny girl that can make me laugh any day and my main comrade in the creation that was Bronco Bowl.
Destinee Hardin – Sat to the left of me for as long as I can remember and poses some of the best questions take for example “What if the sun disappeared?” she kept me entertained in my lonely corner throughout the year.
Ian Cook – Knows a little something on just about every subject out there, and coupled with his dry humor makes him a really cool guy. (After he read this he told me to “re-write it”)
Brett Walker – With his witty and pithy comments flying from ever angle he always kept me on the edge of my seat in order to keep up.
Julianna Di Napoli – Your extremely small hands made me laugh and I always enjoyed that you didn’t hesitate to make fun of me.
Jamila Obeid – The love taps always came at just the right time and her jamming out to gangster tunes always made me do a little dance.
Marcus Robinson – He was always capable of reminding me that I wasn’t black.
Chase Tremaine – This guy I’ve know since fourth grade and we ended our senior year sitting next to me for an entire year and I’ve had some great times with this guy.
There are honestly too many people to mention in this post because Will Ritche is breathing down my neck to get this finished but I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m so glad that I’ve had this year so full of experiences and that I’ve made so many friends! Good luck to everyone next year and always remember that if you are going to follow in my foot steps you must dominate!
