Recently six teachers joined together to represent Legacy at the annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser. The team, made up of Jinna Danser, Jayme Schroeder, Megan Mosavian, Jon Ramon, Sherry Parker and Doug Danser will raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS).
Bowl For Kids’ Sake was started in the early 1980s by the BBBS and has been the biggest annual event held by Big Brothers Big Sisters since its debut. To participate, the team gathers sponsors and participates in a large bowl-a-thon. The team also needs to raise $400 to contribute to BBBS.
In order to help with the total contribution, Assistant Principal John Contreras asks the students and staff of Legacy make donations to the fundraiser. All donations will be accepted and collected by all teachers through the April 29. 100% of all donations will be given to the BBBS foundation.
