Students Pledge To Be Drug Free During Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week, the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention program reaches millions of Americans every year around Oct. 24-28. It will allow students a chance to promote a drugfree campus for their school.

During Red Ribbon Week students will have an option to pledge to be drug free, to show their pride in being drug free during school. A schedule will be posted throughout the halls to inform students on the spirit days for the week.

Legacy will have spirit days to support drug free students.
Monday– Texas Ranger Day
Tuesday– Twin Day
Wednesday– Polo Day
Thursday– Favorite College Day
Friday– Senior Dress-up Day only

During Red Ribbon Week, in second block classrooms, students will fill out a written pledge to be drug free. All slips will be sent to Student Council and recognized to the school. To announce Legacy’s pledge in being drug free, a banner in front of the school will be placed, and will be titled as a drug free campus.
