The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will begin selling carnations for $1 each on Tues., Feb. 14 for Valentine’s Day.
“Giving someone flowers on Valentine’s Day is a sweet way of telling someone how much you care about them,” PTSA President Sheri St. John said.
A table will be set up in the cafeteria where students may purchase their carnations. A variety of colors will be available including pink, white and red. The proceeds go to after-prom. The carnations must be payed for when they are picked up.
“It would be a great opportunity to purchase flowers for friends, teachers, parents and that special someone and also help support after prom,” Mrs. St. John said.
