The district administration approved the start and end time for the 2012-13 schedule, 7:25 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. for high schools.
District officials continue to finalize how long each period will last and how the schools will function with the new eight block schedule, principal Des Stewart said.
Freshman counselor John Williams anticipates the most challenging thing for teachers will be the adjustment to the extra class and an extra set of students to accommodate.
“It’s just different,” Mr. Williams said. “We have to adjust in how we think and helping students pick classes they want and that will fit in their schedule.”
