Today’s Tetris: Rise of Block Blast

The hit game Block Blast recently became popular and favorable for many students. It released in September of 2022, and as of mid-2024, it boomed in popularity. Block Blast takes on a similar approach to Tetris, a game that uses blocks to eliminate rows and columns to clear a grid, while Block Blast requires players to place blocks to clear an 8 by 8 grid.

Classes will give midterm exams Jan. 15-17. Tuesday and Wednesday will be half days for students not failing the classes of the exams taken the next day. Thursday will be a half day for all students. For more information about Exam can be found here.

Hi I’m Dini. Its pronounced Dinny. I’m the News Editor for The Rider. This is my senior year and I’m glad to be back on staff. Besides newspaper I am involved in theater. Theater is my life, I love it. I am an only child so the people in newspaper and theater are like brothers and sisters to me, I don’t know what I would do without them. I love to read.
