Almost Home Animal Rescue (AHAR) needs donations for the holiday season. The organization takes in homeless pets and nurtures them to health so they can find a loving family. Donations will help AHAR continue their mission of keeping the pets happy and healthy, especially during the holidays. Ms. Anderson helps the rescue collect items during this time of year.
“By collecting donations, I hope to help them help homeless critters,” Ms. Anderson said.
AHAR accepts donations of PetSmart or Petco gift cards, cat and dog supplies (food, treats, toys, beds, leashes, collars, crates, towels, blankets, furniture and throws). Drop off donations in Ms. Anderson’s room T-204 by December 19.
“The rescue counts on donations to function and I know how desperately they need them during the holidays,” Ms. Anderson said.
