National Children’s Dental Health Month, sponsored by the American Dental Association, takes place all through February. In spirit of the month, the MISD PTA decided to collect toothbrushes. The toothbrushes will be donated to the clothes closet, and will be distributed to the people who come to the clothing closet.
“Collecting toothbrushes for the clothing closet is a great way to help those in need by relieving a financial burden,” PTA President Lezlie Waller said.

The toothbrushes will be collected at the receptionist desk and counseling center until Friday, February 27. At that time the toothbrushes will be collected and taken to the mansfield clothing closet, parents of children, that the counselors say will benefit from the program, will then be allowed to take the toothbrushes.
“Its an amazing way to give back to the community,” Waller said.
