During the hot Texas summer there should be no reason to lay around like a couch potato. Get out of the house and attempt to visit these amusement parks, whether it be with friends or family, try to visit these parks this summer.

Six Flags Over Texas

This amusement park holds around 40 roller coasters that will give you an adrenaline rush, excitement and a wonderful family fun day. It features multiple sections, including Gotham City, Looney-Tune Land, Spain, France and more.

NRH2O

Check out the world’s largest water park. It has a multiple lazy rivers, wave pools and water slides. This park also features rides like The Viper, Double Dipper and Purplepalooza.

Schlitterbahn

Spread over 65 acres, this water park includes various slides and has been voted best waterpark for the past 13 years, according to Travel Channel. You can rent cabins or a hotel room on the park grounds if you decide to stay multiple days.

SeaWorld San Antonio

Attracting many people due to their marine life interactions makes this park a wonderful place for a family vacation. Seeing ocean animals up close can be a once in a lifetime experience.

Fiesta Texas

Your family needs to take a trip to this park, otherwise known as the only park to have a floorless roller coaster. This park includes over 100 rides and includes water park as well.
