Prairie View A&M University will be at The MISD Center on Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. for Panther Pride Night. Representatives will talk about the admissions process, financial aid and answer any questions you may have.
“Students and families unfamiliar with Prairie View will be surprised at the value, quality programs and overall opportunity,” counselor Mr. McDonald said. “It is not an accident our district formed a partnership with PVAMU.”
Graduating top 25 percent guarantees admission to Prairie View A&M University. Students in the top 25 percent need to have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 and receive an 820 on the critical reading and math portions of the SAT, or a score of 17 on the ACT exam.
“[I believe] Prairie View provides an excellent opportunity for students to receive a quality education at an affordable price,” Mr. McDonald said.
Representatives from PVAMU will be on campus at Legacy during all lunches on Friday.
