MISD College and Career Night will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the MISD Center for the Performing Arts from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to get more information about college and scholarships.
“This is a great opportunity for students to get a head start on planning,” Head Counselor Ms. Dana Vorsino said.
High school students and their parents are encouraged to attend. College, technical school and military representatives will be available to answer questions about their programs and campuses. Students will have the opportunity to attend financial aid and ACT/SAT seminars. Both seminars will be held at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
“Attending the college fair is a good way for students to get information about the colleges they want to go to,” Ms. Vorsino said. “It can never be too early to start planning for college.”
