During all lunch periods until Dec. 7, students can come by Key Club’s table located toward the front of the cafeteria near the StuCo store to purchase Holiday-Grams. Much like Val-O-Grams, Holiday-Grams will be delivered during advisory the week before finals.
“I would like to send them to a special someone that I care about,” senior Francisco Rodriguez said.
A Key Club member will dress up, sing and dance for the recipient of the Holiday-Grams for $2. For $4 students can send a stuffed animal, poinsettia flower or giant, plastic candy cane to a friend, crush or him/herself. Every Holiday-Gram comes with a personal note from the sender.
“We are spreading Christmas cheer,” Key Club President senior Allison Bao said. “I think it’s cool because it’s fun and exciting to see someone sing and dance. I think they’re really cute.”
The fundraiser benefits Key Club’s trip to the District Convention in which they learn leadership skills and compete with other Key Club chapters.
